“Bellevue”

Originally built as an 18th century country barn, Bellevue has been painstakingly restored to create a charming and welcoming rural retreat.

Comfortably sleeping 6-8, the generously sized rooms maintain a traditionally low-key decor with exposed beams, solid wood furniture (from sustainable sources), handmade Moroccan floor-tiles and a beautifully restored log fireplace.

Whilst preserving many of the original features, the renovation incorporates several state-of-the-art facilities including a spacious country kitchen fitted with all modern conveniences; a geo-thermal, under floor heating and cooling system; and a sizeable salt-water swimming pool and barbecue area in the three acre grounds.

Although in a secluded location, Bergerac town is less than five minutes drive away with all the essential local amenities needed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable home-from-home.

Situated 15 minutes from Bergerac International Airport (served by British Airways, Ryanair and Flybe from the UK) and just over an hour from Bordeaux, the house is easily accessible by air, train, car and ferry.
